***With the price of gas at $4.00 a gallon, we have decided to lower our prices. Bikes are now $25.00 per day and youth are $15.00. Quads are now $35.00 per day and must call on a weekly bases to see if we will allow them to ride due to the lack of rainfall and our water supply. This normally happens mid July and August when we don't get any rain for 6 weeks.**
==+ We are considering going to a Membership Riding club and be open to members only 7 days a week. We will still be open to the public on the weekends. The club will be for bikes only and members will be required to log in and help out with the day to day track maintenance and upkeep of grooming the grounds ie. mow the grass, trim the weeds, pick up garbage, water the tracks and operate some of the equipment for those of you who are operators. Anyone interested in this club concept should email me at tbkrebs@ptd.net. The price of the membership will be $300.00 for the first family member with ALL children 12 and under FREE. That's right, our children are the future of this sport. The second family member will be $175.00 Remember, this fee will allow you to come and go at your leisure, 7 days a week , from April until the end of November or until the ground freezes. Thanks for your support, tell all you friends.+==
^^^ HELP! we need some help finishing our bathroom and shower house. Anyone with connections to a large water heater for the showers so you can take a hot shower before you leave. I am also looking for a sub soil digger, 3 point hitch type to rip up the hard packed areas of the track. With the lack of rainfall the tracks are getting very hard and need to be tore up, then we can mix in some saw dust, add some water and we have great loamy soil again.^^^
~~ Two new tracks are now open for this year. We combined the intermediate track with the old supercross track to make a much longer intermediate and quad track. This track has 5 long tabletops, bowl turns, doubles, drop offs and is a lot of fun for riders of skill levels. The new supercross track now replaces the start gate area and the flat track oval we had. This track is fast with a lot of 180 degree turns, nice jumps, a woop section and of course our great dirt. NEW SPRING DISCOUNTS~~ Any group of riders or riding club that bring 5 or more riders will get a $5.00 discount off the one day pass price. 10 or more riders will receive a $10.00 discount off.
**TUNNEL DIMENSIONS ON IRISH VALLEY ROAD. I just measured the tunnel again today 5-7-07, and here are the dimensions. The tunnel is 14 ft. wide and 14ft.-5in. high in the center of the arch. The side walls measure 11 ft, then arch up to 14ft.-5in. ( the posted sign says clearance of 11ft.-5 in.) We have had hundreds of vehicles come through this tunnel over the past 3 years and no one has had any problems getting through it. HOWEVER, if you want an alternate route around the tunnel here it is:
** From Rt. 487 turn right onto Rt. 61 North. Go 4.4 miles to the village of Stonington. Turn LEFT onto HOSTA ROAD and go 4.1 miles to stop sign. Turn RIGHT onto Irish Valley Road( up the hill ) .3 miles. Track is on the right.
** From Rt. 61 North, continue past Irish Valley Road on Rt. 61 for 6.1 miles to the village of Stonington. Turn LEFT onto HOSTA ROAD and go 4.1 miles to stop sign. Turn RIGHT onto Irish Valley Road ( up the hill ) .3 miles. Track is on the right.
